Which BBQ Joints Stand Out In Georgia?
In terms of Google Trends search interest, Decatur’s Community Q BBQ and Alpharetta’s Smokejack BBQ are the far and away winners in the state.
The former garnered a whopping 52% of search interest, while the latter finished at 27% (more than twice the figure No. 3 Grand Champion BBQ of Milton and Smyrna finished with).
Community Q, which is a northeast Atlanta suburban BBQ joint, finished with an incredible 52% of all Google Trends search volume, finishing with a higher percentage than the final three places on the list combined.
Those three included Grand Champion BBQ, Zombie Pig BBQ of Columbus and St. Simons Island’s Southern Soul Barbeque.
That trio finished with 12%, 6% and 3% of search volume, respectively, closing out the top-five most searched for BBQ places in the Peach State.
None of them could hold a candle to Community Q BBQ and Smokejack BBQ, though, who finished the far-and-away people’s champion for barbecue in Georgia for 2023.
